I'm a firm believer in the concept "don't reinvent the wheel". Thomas Feller, Jr. wrote a nice blog post that compares/contrasts the Common Core Standards and NC Essential Standards.
In a follow up post, he shares a common core scavenger hunt .
One of the differences pointed out by Feller is North Carolina's implementation of the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy (RBT) in developing the Essential Standards. I found this PDF of Bloom's quicksheets that serve as a great reminder as we transition into the RBT.
The closer we get to implementation, the more resources we will be able to find.
Here are a couple of places to get started.
